Campus Information Environment

Information Infrastructure

The information infrastructure encompasses the campus fiber backbone network environment, campus wireless network environment, large-scale data automatic backup system environment, and a highly stable and reliable data center environment, all designed to facilitate teaching, research, administration, and learning purposes.

Fiber Backbone Network Environment: The school’s network architecture and transmission speeds are continually improving. Each of the 17 buildings on campus is connected via 10 Gigabit fiber for the main network backbone, with fiber redundancy in each building to enhance network stability and provide a higher quality network environment.

Campus Wireless Network Environment: Wireless internet access is available throughout the campus, with 100% coverage. This enables individuals to use laptops or appropriate information technology products to establish a free learning environment without temporal or spatial constraints.

For information on applying for wireless network access, please refer to: [link]

Secure Storage Environment: The school provides various servers including web hosting, email servers, file transfer servers (FTP), etc., all automatically backed up daily to ensure good and stable service quality.

Library Information Center Data Center: The data center is equipped with a constant temperature and humidity air conditioning system, stable power supply system (uninterruptible power supply system, emergency generators), standard server cabinet space, card-based access control, gas fire extinguishers, environmental monitoring systems, and provides software services such as security protection, monitoring, performance management, and backup services.

Computer Teaching Classroom

The Library Information Center provides sufficient computer equipment and software licenses to meet the needs of information courses, allowing students to achieve practical learning in information courses.
