Google 於2026年1月25日，正式宣布：Gemini AI 全面免費開放給教育者，將原本屬於付費訂閱才有的Gemini進階AI功能，直接免費開放給所有教育版（Google Workspace for Education）用戶！
這不是試用版、不是限期活動，而是把 AI 變成學校的「標配」。Google 是把 Gemini 直接內建在 Workspace 系列工具裡，老師不用學新平台、不用裝外掛，打開原本就在用的 Gmail、文件、試算表、簡報，就能直接叫出 AI 協助。
學校Google帳號為XXX@hk.edu.tw，即可在直接在Workspace 系列工具裡，使用Gemini AI。

On January 25, 2026, Google officially announced that Gemini AI is now fully available to educators free of charge. Advanced Gemini AI features, which were previously exclusive to paid subscribers, are now being provided for free to all Google Workspace for Education users!

This is not a trial version or a limited-time promotion; it is a strategic move to make AI a “standard feature” in schools. Google has integrated Gemini directly into the Workspace suite. Educators do not need to learn a new platform or install any plugins—simply open the tools you already use, such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, to call upon AI assistance immediately.

Eligibility:
If your school Google account ends in @hk.edu.tw, you can access and use Gemini AI directly within the Google Workspace series of tools.
